Wed 19/9 - Centennial Park

Centennial Park is a large park, and nearby there is also Moore Park, a golf course, Randwick race course, the SCG and Sydney Football stadium.

The main lake, and with the city skyline in the background.

I think this is the "The duck pond"

The Sydney Cricket Ground, and next door the Sydney Football Stadium.

Sun 16/9 South Head

OK so I only ran for about 1km today. I borrowed a bike and covered some distance.

Vaucluse house

Near HMAS Watson the Navy base at South Head.

This is where I had to run (I could have walked :)

Fri 14/9 Over the Bridge

Over the bridge, but not too far away, is Luna Park, and Kirrabilli house.

Thu 13/9 - Andrew Charlton Pool and Koshi

I ran across to Mrs Macquaries Point through the Royal Botanical Gardens to swim at the Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool, an outdoor heated (not too heated) 50m pool pearched on the side of the Woolooomaloo Bay. This pool is reported to be the birthplace of the "Australian Crawl" or freestyle swim stroke.

And look who I saw a Martin Place on the way back, Koshi and Mel.

Wed 12/9 Anzac Bridge, Pyrmont

From Darling Harbour, past Pyrmont Bay, across the Anzac Bridge and back.

Tue Sep 11 - The Harbour Bridge and Opera House

A date in the year which we will all now remember forever "9-11".

Here's some photos I snapped of Sydney's key attractions on my run that morning. It's easy to see why Sydney was recently voted the worlds best tourist city destination.

A week running around Sydney - in photos.

This blog captures some snaps taken on my runs over a week in Sydney.
